keeping and accounting systems, preparing loan and grant applications,
performing market research, developing marketing strategies, creating
marketing material design, preparing cash flow projections and pro formas,
etc. |

Business Education Programs |
| Training programs offered
include Financial Education (a 12 hour course on personal money management);
Entrepreneurship Training (a 25 hour course covering business concepts and
business plan construction); Personal Effectiveness Training (a 10 hour
course on personal development skills); QuickBooks Tutorial (an 8 hour
course teaching business accounting using QuickBooks software); and other
specialized training classes as deemed appropriate. |

Business Resource Center |
| Good Work Network offers
micro entrepreneurs access to computers, copiers, printers, faxes, and other
office machines and equipment at its Business Resource Center located in an
easily accessible building in the Central City Neighborhood of New Orleans. |

Capital Access Assistance |
| Good Work Network has a small
internal loan fund, business grant fund, and business Individual Development
Account (IDA) Program to provide gap funding where capital from other
sources fall slightly short of needs. Good Work Network also assists member
in packaging loan applications to other larger micro lenders including New
Corp, Hope Community Credit Union, Accion Texas, ASI Credit Union and SBA
micro lenders.

ConnectWorks |
| ConnectWorks, Good Work
Network's market access assistance, is designed to connect low-income and
disadvantaged microentrepreneurs to market opportunities. In collaboration
with a broad range of partners, GWN and ConnectWorks will develop the
capacity of microenterprises, identify opportunities for microenterprises,
connect microenterprises to opportunities and place low-income individuals
in jobs created by microenterprises. |

Credit Counseling |
| Credit counseling is
recommended for most clients. This counseling involves a review of the
client's credit reports; the development of a credit action plan to
establish, repair or improve credit; and the monitoring of the client's
progress. (This service is provided in collaboration with
Capital Access Project). |

Micro Entrepreneur Network |
| Networking and informational
sessions are held that give entrepreneurs the opportunity to come together
to share resources, form collaborations, support each other's businesses,
and learn useful skills and best practices related to running a small
business. |

Website Development |
| Websites have become a very
important marketing tool and are recommended for clients that have developed
a good marketing plan. Good Work Network provides website design along with
search engine optimization to its clients. |
