Rebuild New Orleans Fund

Purpose:

In response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina, The Greater New Orleans Foundation has established the Rebuild New Orleans Fund designated for the relief, recovery and betterment of the community and city that we call home. This fund will focus on three principles: creating an infrastructure of a community that works for everyone, rebuilding a better New Orleans than the one we left, and honoring our social contract to involve the Greater New Orleans community in the process.


These philanthropic dollars will enable a broader voice to be heard during the restructuring process and will provide best practices during the researching, planning and rebuilding progression.
